Strategic Aim
Our strategic aim is to assist our customer base to reduce the cost of production in mineral processing operations by implementing change and the PROmotion® technology platform to address problems customers encounter with the behaviour of a carried phase inside a continuous phase in process streams. In the mineral processing industry, that process stream is slurry, in various stages of comminution, classification, separation, beneficiation and refining.
PROmotion® is a ‘platform technology’ of which there have been few invented over the past 50 years in mineral processing. A true platform technology offers the same basic mechanism or method to a series of applications.
FLOprep™
The workhorse of the retrofit systems – creates equal solids distribution inside the bulk flow ahead of that stream being split.
FLOdistributor™
Delivers equal solids load reporting to various plant components such as cyclones and various process feed header systems.
FLOdose™
Allows the most intimate contact between carried solids in a slurry and an injected chemical such as floculant, flotation collector, biocides etc.
MAXBEND™
The first-ever ‘cause-focused’ remedy to bend wear. This is not a ‘barrier’ or a change in metallurgy approach. MAXBEND reduces the collisions per unit area of the mineral grains on the bend internal wall, allowing previously unheard-of bend life improvements.
